Nick Yasman is an employment litigation attorney at WCTL and WCEL. Nick graduated magna cum laude from Seattle University with a double major in Philosophy and Film Studies and a minor in History. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he earned the Merit Scholarship. Nick has also received training from Pepperdine’s prestigious Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and has traveled the globe through the University of Virginia’s Semester at Sea program.
Nick sees labor and employment matters through the entire litigation process to trial in both state and federal courts. Nick specializes in employment matters brought under the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), including countless claims for discrimination and harassment, hostile work environment, wrongful termination, and retaliation. Nick also has extensive experience litigating complex representative claims brought under the Private Attorneys General Act of 2004 (PAGA) and all wage and hour claims.
Nick’s professional memberships include the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Labor and Employment), and LEFTJAW.
